The only thing really lacking in the default is the ability to sync created albums. Even if it was only a feature available when importing via iPhoto that would be fine (at least for me, hopefully they would add it to desktop importing as well at some point). But it is annoying to have sorted my camera roll and then have to do it over after import. I've actually sent product feedback about this to Apple
