The New Mountain Lion Finder Is Fantastic For Photographers [Mountain Lion] | Cult of Mac

Back in the time of the OS X Leopards, the Finder became a whole lot more useful for anyone with photos and videos on their Macs (ie. everybody)/ We got Quick Look, which let us watch slideshows and movies right there on the desktop, and the Finder itself was good enough to use as a lightweight photo viewer.

In Mountain Lion, the Finder might even replace iPhoto????? thats dum it will never replace it!!!

As a photographer, that's the biggest reason I'm still using the wonderful Snow Leopard. It's ridiculous that they removed this functionality in Lion

Well I got to quick look, hit the double arrow ( on top of keyboard?) and just got one photo enlarged. and
then when I pushed arrow/pause I suddenly got itunes to blare dancing queen. Maybe time to take a break.

Actually for those that never bother to do anything in iPhoto, Finder is a fine replacement now. And there are many older folks, especially those that came over from PC that a fine with folders of photos that never get edited, tagged etc.
