What happened to the iPod nano?
I thought the strangest thing to come out of yesterdays launch was the new style iPod Nano. Apple really seemed to be onto something and heading down a very interesting path with the last gen nano - the watch idea was early on but held such potential. The idea of having it linked (bluetooth 4 for example) to my iPhone to alert of messages, emails, missed calls - or incoming calls etc - is so interesting and I was up for Apple announcing such a thing. Had they, I can assure you I would have brought one - along with the new iPHone - regardless of the fact I have an iPod already. The reason was it would have been very helpful at work, out and about and would have been neat and pushing an idea. The thoughts of where this could have lead is exciting.
But now we have have a not-so-nano nano and the move away from such a great idea.
THere was a great piece on CoM a few days ago giving a view on how the Nano could be used in the future but sadly they were getting to excited as well....
Do other people feel the same? Am I bang wrong? Be interested in other peoples views on this as I felt quite let down...
