New iPad product line pricing, failure or no surprise?

Not very pleased with the new product line pricing.

iPad mini at $329 instead of that damn rumored $250 is going to really put a damper on people's xmas plans.

The newer new iPad (let's just call it iPad 4) is wonderful and makes sense at $499. However I thought there was a typo in the event when the iPad 2 was shown at $399. WTF is up with that? the iPad 3 (previously known as the new iPad) just vanishes off the face of the planet. Crazy thing is that a refurb iPad 3 is only going for $379. THAT'S CHEAPER THAN AN IPAD 2!!! It's insanity. My mind can't handle this much craziness in the walled garden. Help me... I'm actually considering one of those cheap $99 Nexus 7" tablets. Ahhhhhh, my brain!!!

Trust me, I share you frustation. Just bought an Ipad and new MAC(60 days ago), now both lines get an upgrade. I am furious........

Well the iMac (I assume you're talking about) has been rumoured to get an upgrade for quite a few months so your gamble didn't pay off.

iPad is a bit of a bummer but the 3rd Gen is no slouch.

As for the OP, If you thought Apple would have released the Mini for $250 you're dreaming.

Apple have always been premium products with a premium price tag.
