Correct way to charge NEW iPad right of out box?

Getting my NEW iPad tomorrow, should I drain battery on new ipad (which always have battery of them as with iPhone) then fully charge or charge it right out of box for max battery life?

    When I got my 3rd gen back on release date I charged it up when it got down to about 20% and have done so every since. I had to take it to an Apple store on Monday because the screen was going it and when the Genius hooked up his device to my to run a diagnosis check he said the battery was perfect.
