Is there a DockTor in the House
I am actually quite happy with the lightning connector on my new iPad. I am always teaching with it, and far too often, the 30 pin jostled, and fell out, losing the signal and losing my class. I am aware of using an Apple TV, but none of my schools have HDMI. They don't even have S-Video yet (-: I own the iHome iA100, and it has been a wonderful bedside dock, but now it is less than wonderful because of the lightning connection. Yes, I have the adaptor, but it is not the same as having it standing there next to my bed where I can glance at it in the middle of the night. While I see iPhone lightning docks, I see nothing anywhere about iPad docks with lightning connection. Can someone educate me about why this is, and tell me if this scarcity is because of Apple holding back specs from third parties? Thanks!!!
