What's Your Favorite New Feature Of iTunes 11 [Let's Talk]

iTunes 11 was finally released today and it's actually pretty great. The user interface has been streamlined so that superfluous crap gets out of the way when you don't need it, and there are some genuinely cool features and tricks in the update. It's a step in the right direction and I'm pretty surprised that I want to start using iTune again thanks to this update.

Now that you've had a little bit of time to play with iTunes 11, what's your favorite feature? Up Next is pretty awesome and I'm digging the album view even though I prefer browsing via artists instead. How about you? What's surprised you about iTunes 11 so far? What do you love about it? What do you hate?

Speed. Freaking speed.
To add to that, I like the new look, trimmed down interface, and iTunes store integration. It seems much more 'smart' than previous versions of iTunes.

I love that iTunes will now save your iTunes password. Now I don't have to type it for every single DAMN download

I wish there was more multi touch integration, so you could use a pinch to zoom to "open and album" or something like that. Maybe we'll see it in future updates.

I really like the whole new design. The ability for the artists to upload pictures is going to add much more of a community feeling to it, like we see with artists on youtube i think.

I am liking the "play next" option, its something ive wanted for years. and the Drag to Add to playlist and a sliding sidebar comes out.

Still investigating but one thing I've been happy to use several times already is the resume music feature. It used to be that when one was messing about with other types of media is was all too easy to start a film or an audio book. Now it allows us to resume playing the music where we left off. Simple & much better than having to hunt back for the album we were using.

Anyone else happy to see some colour back in the icons?

Now if they just let us pay to add more than 25K of songs to iCLoud & add out films & TV shows....

Speed is a big deal. Still getting used to it, but..

I can't figure out how to sort artists by year anymore. Used to be I'd sort by artist and then by year within that artist. Now it sorts by artist, but then sorts alphabetical. I don't want it that way. I want it to sort by year within a specific artist.

Anyone figure out how to do that?

For me clicking on an album and the songs being presented with similar colours to the album artwork is a brilliant little touch of detail. Gives it that Apple quality feel.

I really like the integration with iCloud though I would like to see podcast subscriptions being able to sync over iCloud in the future with my iOS devices.

View - view options - Just choose:)

I'd do that, except I can't find where "View" is. Here's what I'm seeing (see attached). I wonder if I'm stuck in some "expert" mode or something.

@JoeSiegler - this is the Windows version. I think the little icon at the top left will give you the menu options?

OK, figured out my problem. The menu bar was turned off. I had to turn on the menu bar to see what needed to be done. Fire is out. :)

Looks nice and seems to work well, but I am greatly disappointed Apple didn't provide some means to allow me to add more than 25,000 songs to my iMatch library. The song limit is a big problem for many people that Apple could easily fix by allowing people to purchase more more space on iMatch,

Any body have a clue when Audiobooks will get added to iCloud? I'm a huge listener of audiobooks and having them in the cloud and available for download on multiple devices would be great also syncing across devices (like they do now with podcasts) would be outstanding!
