iTunes 11 and Podcast app designed to drive you nuts!
Ok maybe an exaggeration but here's my problem. Using iTunes 11 on iMac the old iTunes had all your playlists down the side starting with Music so you had all your music listed when that was highlighted. Now with the update that is gone - the first item is Purchased Music hmmm - so to see all my music I now click Songs. But .. there is now list of Playlists on the left hand side - so how do I drag a song into a playlist? Or do I have to go from one simple click drag and drop to click the little arrow next to the song, find the Add to item, scroll through 50 playlists and add it that way? What genius thought of making it harder?
Checked the Podcast app? Well this is even weirder. The way to play a podcast in the car was simple. You went to podcasts in iTunes found what you wanted and played then WHEN the iPhone range it paused. Smart. Call ends and podcast starts back up.
Podcast app - call comes in - Podcast app stops podcast. Call ends - nothing. Take eyes off road and hunt for app - first slide to unlock then tap podcast app, then find the item and tap play - dumb.
Maybe I'm missing the obvious but after using Apple gear for 7 or 8 years I thought I knew what I was doing - but damned if I can find how to solve these two frustrating issues - any help appreciated.
