Attempting to Downgrade iOS 6.0.1 to to 5.1.1 (iPhone 4 CDMA)

Hello. I am attempting to downgrade my iPhone 4 (CDMA) 6.0.1 to 5.1.1. I have read multiple guides and sites that tell me this is possible and how to do it. However it absolutely will not work for me. I have the 5.1.1 update file. I obtained the 5.1.1 blobs for my iPhone from Cydia's backup via Tiny Umbrella. I stitched the blobs into the 5.1.1 update and I even put my phone into PwnDFU mode via redsn0w. Still, no matter what, I continue to get the iTunes errors 16XX. Please can somebody help me out? I have done hundreds of Google searches and nothing has worked for me. Thank you for anyone who can provide guidance.
