I amnew to mac and just purchased an iMac 27 ... is it running mountain lion if when i look in "about this mac" it shows 10.8.2 or is this something i need to update to ... when I look in the app store it shows mountain lion as an update for 20.oo but I thought it would already be on this computer...i am confused....

10.8.2 is the latest version of Mountain Lion that is shipped with iMacs.
